Five Ways To Be More Motivated In Life
Feeling less than motivated often? Question the reasons that are making you feel like slowing down.
When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated but have consistency in their motivation.
The best motivation is self-motivation. Here are five ways to get and keep yourself motivated in life. These techniques are no rocket science or don’t involve any expenditure.
• Establish a vision that inspires you.
Take the time to craft out what you really want out of your life and why. Create mental clarity around this. It must serve a greater purpose than just yourself. Read your vision aloud to yourself every day.
• Surround yourself with successful people.
People of success are driven. And we become who we are associated with. We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with, so prioritize relationships with those who are at a high level or on their way.
• Go out and meet new people on a regular basis.
It seems that the more people I meet, the greater my perspective is on life. And with great perspective comes great action taking.
• Practice gratitude on a daily basis.
The truth is that you have it better than most, especially if you’re on LinkedIn. The more grateful we are for our lives and opportunities, the more responsibility we feel to be great and give to the world.
• Prioritize your health.
Eat foods that give you energy. And workout on a consistent basis. In order to consistently take action, we need to have a clean head space which is heavily influenced by our physical well-being.
